We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman with a strong background in joinery to lead and manage a team on a 12-month internal refurbishment project focused on residential housing in Flint. This is a freelance role with competitive daily pay and an excellent opportunity for a skilled foreman to take on a leadership role in a rewarding, hands-on project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and leading a team on various internal refurbishment tasks for housing projects.
- Coordinating and managing site activities to ensure smooth and efficient project flow.
- Conducting joinery work and supervising others in carpentry tasks as needed.
- Ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
- Maintaining health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Working Foreman, with a strong focus on joinery and carpentry.
- Hands-on experience in residential refurbishment projects.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly those related to residential properties.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or leading a team effectively.
- Must have a valid CSCS card and own tools.
