About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker to join a school in North Tyneside. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the school premises, ensuring a safe and clean environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:

General maintenance and minor repairs
Ensuring the security of the school buildings and grounds
Cleaning and tidying classrooms, hallways, and other areas
Setting up rooms for events and meetings
Monitoring and replenishing the stock of cleaning supplies
Reporting any major repairs or safety concerns to the managementRequirements:

Enhanced DBS check (required)
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
