Job Title: Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

Location: Maidstone

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000

My client, an award-winning geotechnical and environmental consultancy, is looking for someone to take on the role of Graduate Geotechnical Engineer. In this position, based in Maidstone, you will be responsible for carrying out groundwork and site investigation on various construction sites.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join an award-winning consultancy, where you will work both independently and as part of a dedicated team of geotechnical specialists. As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you will be liaising with clients and contractors to ensure onsite compliance with industry guidelines, client specifications and the relevant British Standards.

Candidate Requirements

• You will need a degree in:
  • Geology, Physical Geography, Geoscience or Civil Engineering (or similar relevant subject)
• You will also require a full UK driving license
• Familiarity with Maidstone and surrounding area

• Onsite supervision and direction of site works
• Analysis of geotechnical and environmental designs
• Design of geotechnical solutions
• Gas monitoring
• Groundwater monitoring
