This media company is driven by Data and Analytics and is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to deliver actionable and meaningful work. This company has a vast amount of data to work through and as a Data Engineering Tech Lead, you will be working closely with talented senior data engineers and guiding them using modern technologies to deliver essential insight that will allow the company to continue growing across the UK working with big data sets.

THE ROLE

As a Data Engineering Technical Lead, you can expect to help build a system that will in turn benefit the organization and make it more efficient and profitable.

In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Involved with a very product-driven team
• Focusing on AWS platform development
• Delivery leading
• Managing Operations
• Coaching and Managing 3 to 4 Senior Data Engineers

The successful Data Engineering Technical Lead will have the following skills and experience

• Full Proficiency in AWS, Python, CI/CD, Spark, Kafka
