Business Development Manager: Leeds Office

We are The Alliance Group, a group of recruitment agencies, supplying both temporary and permanent staff to the Construction and Built Environment sectors, throughout the UK.

With niche market sectors to promote, we are looking to add to our team with a Business Development Manager to both increase business with existing clients, as well as bring on new business, predominantly supplying trades and labour on a temporary basis.

Main duties to include:

* Focussed on increasing business with existing, lapsed and new business.

* Maintaining excellent working relationships with existing clients, by telephone, visiting sites and client offices.

* Contacting “lapsed clients” to remind them of our unique service and win back their business.

* Target new business within the region, using various methods to include local knowledge, networking events, ABI etc.

* Build rapport and confidence with our clients to obtain repeat business.

* Taking detailed information from the client for each project they require labour on

* Pass all labour requirements to the central operations team who will fill all vacancies.

* Help the operations team, deal with any site issues in a professional manner when they arise.

* Have full visibility of all temps supplied so you can build client relationships with knowledge of existing business.

* Having constant communication, both telephone and face to face, with clients

* Weekly sales activity and outcome reporting to sales director

Attributes Required:

* You must be able to work on your own, but value being backed by an experienced team.

* Have exceptional Business Development and Account Management skills.

* Have at least 3 years Sales or Business Development experience in a similar fast paced service environment

* Enjoy business development and client servicing, whether face to face or on the phone

* Be IT literate, to include Word, Excel, and Outlook

* Possess a pro-active, can do, energetic attitude.

* Enjoy and be able to work towards both individual and team orientated targets.

* Have the ability to enjoy what you do and be successful.
