Overview:We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Umbraco .NET Developer with a strong background in public sector projects to join our team on a 3-month contract. The role is fully remote and outside IR35, offering a fantastic opportunity for a professional developer to work on critical public sector digital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Take ownership of web-based projects, ensuring key milestones are met, and deliverables align with stakeholder requirements.
• Umbraco CMS Development: Build, enhance, and maintain websites and web-based applications using Umbraco as the content management system, ensuring they are user-centric and meet client needs.
• Backend Development: Leverage your expertise in .NET, C#, and Azure to design, develop, and maintain the Back End architecture of the projects.
• Frontend Integration: Ensure smooth integration between Front End and Back End systems using technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and technical teams to align on digital strategies and deliver cohesive, user-friendly solutions.
• API Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for smooth data flow and interaction between various systems.
• Cloud Development: Utilize Azure services, including Azure Functions and cloud-based resources, for scalable and high-performance solutions.
• Documentation & Mentorship: Write comprehensive technical documentation and provide guidance to junior developers to ensure a high standard of technical delivery across the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Umbraco CMS: Proven experience developing with Umbraco, including the implementation of custom features and functionalities.
• Fullstack .NET Development: Strong knowledge of fullstack development using .NET, including both Back End and Front End integration.
• C# & .NET 4.5+: Advanced expertise in C# and .NET 4.5+, with hands-on experience in MVC architecture, Entity Framework, and other core .NET components.
• Frontend Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure a seamless integration between Front End and Back End systems.
• Public Sector Experience: Demonstrated experience working on projects in the public sector, with a strong understanding of its unique challenges and requirements.
• Azure Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with Azure cloud services, Azure Functions, and other cloud-based resources to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions.
• API Development: Hands-on experience with developing and integrating RESTful APIs to enable seamless data exchange between systems.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile environment to deliver iterative, client-focused solutions.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.
