My Shrewsbury based client is currently recruiting for a temporary Accounts Assistant

Pay - £12.50 - £14.00/ph depending on experience

35 hrs per week

As the Finance Assistant you will be reporting to the Financial Controller, you will have previous experience within an accounts function, able to follow processes and have an excellent eye for detail

Responsibilities:-

* Contacting customers via phone and email, chasing outstanding payments

* Raising invoices and credit notes

* Able to reconcile control spreadsheets and accounting records

* Filing and general administration

Skills and experience:-

* Previous Sales Ledger experience

* Experience in speaking with customers regarding payments

* Excel and word skills

* Experience with Sage 50 or Sage 200

Previous roles Sales Ledger, Credit Controller, Finance Assistant
