The role - Pastoral HLTA

I am working with a SEN school based in Wandsworth that is looking to appoint a new Pastoral HLTA to join their team! In this role you will be working closely with secondary aged students with mental health and medical needs. You must have experience working with Autism and be a confident, flexible and efficient person with the ability to use your own initiative. As a Pastoral HLTA you will build strong relationships with the students and work closely with class teachers and SLT members. You will be required to run interventions and cover lessons where needed.

The school - Hospital School

This is a Hospital School based in Wandsworth that caters for students aged 11 - 16 with mental health and medical needs. Their students have the opportunity to make accelerated progress through personalised learning programmes delivered by exceptional practitioners in small groups or in one-to-one tuition. Staff and students build positive nurturing relationships enabling students to grow in confidence, self-acceptance, and compassion for all. They encourage the students to develop resilience, empathy and advocacy to work towards an equitable society for all.
