KS1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Leeds
Position: Permanent, Full-Time

Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join one of our vibrant primary schools in Leeds. This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in the classroom setting.
Work with small groups of pupils, both in and out of the classroom.
Assist with interventions to help pupils who may need extra support.
Provide phonics support (experience in phonics is preferred).
Offer social and emotional support to pupils, ensuring a positive learning environment.
Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) as needed.
Assist the teacher with managing pupil behaviour effectively.Requirements:

Previous experience in a school setting is essential.
Experience in phonics is desirable.
A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children.
