We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical installations on a large-scale commercial project in Liverpool. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing electrical works on commercial construction projects, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of all electrical activities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team on an exciting, high-profile development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning on-site for a commercial project.
* Supervise and coordinate electrical subcontractors and site teams to ensure work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
* Ensure electrical systems are installed to the highest standards, meeting all relevant codes and regulations.
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure the timely completion of electrical work.
* Monitor and manage electrical budgets, ensuring the project remains within financial constraints.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing as planned and is of high quality.
* Liaise with project managers, other trades, and stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and communication across the project.
* Address any electrical issues or challenges that arise on-site and find effective solutions.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for electrical works and project progress.
Requirements:
* Gold ECS card ( black preferred)
* SMSTS
* Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager, ideally on large commercial projects.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and regulations within the commercial construction industry.
* Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Experience managing electrical subcontractors and site teams.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, schematics, and technical drawings.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
