The company
A Luxury bed manufacturer based in Dewsbury, part of a large group turning over 30 million pound each year and supplying into leading retailers UK wide.

The role
A Credit Controller is now required to join the team to be responsible for managing the company's credit control function, ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will take responsibility for:

* Managing the sales ledger and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.

* Overseeing accounts receivable and payable to maintain accurate financial records.

* Processing purchase and sales orders while handling general administrative duties.

* Chasing overdue invoices via phone, email, and written communication.

* Reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, and liaising with internal teams and external clients for a smooth credit control process.

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

* Proven previous experience of working in a credit control or similar financial role.

* Proficiency in using Safe software for financial processes.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong client relationship and the ability to confidently chase overdue payments.

* Ability to work independently and proactively manage workloads.

* Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

* Experience working in consumer goods manufacturing would be highly advantageous but not essential to the role.

* Knowledge of supply chain and order processing within a manufacturing environment would also be desirable.
