People Advisor

Location: Leeds, Thorpe Park, Hybrid working

The role reports into the Colleague Relations & Policy Manager and is a key role within the People Services community. The core responsibilities of this position are to provide a proactive employee relations service to the business and support People Managers with self-serving their people queries, issues, processes and administration.

This role will work collaboratively with the People Services Business Partners and People Services Advisory team to ensure employee relations cases are dealt with in a consistent and fair manner and that the suite of people policies, procedures and toolkits are always kept updated in line with current employment legislation.

You will be the main point of contact for occupational health queries and will support the People Services Advisory team with escalated Helpdesk queries such as absence, maternity, group income protection and flexible working.

You'll bring a professional and supportive approach to helping the business with the informal resolution of disputes and grievances and act as the main point of contact for formal grievances.

What we need from you?

To make the role your own you'll ideally have worked in an Employee Relations role, with significant experience in dealing with numerous complex cases. You'll be used to operating in a dynamic fast paced environment where you've become adept at juggling a busy workload whilst working closely with managers to deliver exemplary customer service.

CIPD qualification would be advantageous but, it's not essential to your success in the role.
