Are you an experienced people focused Operations Manager looking to join an established organisation with a settled team and strong reputation?
Perhaps you already have experience in managing people in a demanding Logistics or Transport environment. Ideally you would have also managed Transport Managers and have a National or International CPC.
This role would be well suited to individuals who are flexible, organised and used to working in a busy environment, previous experience in managing P&L and a fleet of vehicles would be highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities
- Involved in HR and Disciplinary procedures and recruitment managing the processes
- Improving customer service levels and taking advantage of the opportunities of new business within the operating area of the depot
- Introducing a positive can do attitude for staff and drivers
- Optimising potential of vehicles and drivers increasing daily workloads to an acceptable level
- Meeting or exceeding expectation of the depots budget and P&L management
- Providing exceptional guidance to Transport Managers and general operations and planning staff
- Proactively managing issues efficiently as and when they arrive
Desirable
- Expert in compliance and legislation
- Previous experience as a manager in a busy Logistics, Transport or Fleet environment
- Exposure to the Courier/Fuel or similar industries.
- National CPC or O Licence holder
- Strong managerial style with the ability to manage strong minded staff
- Exposure to fast paced and demanding environments
- Ability to manage your own time and to use your initiative
- Flexible nature and strong work ethic
