Duties and responsibilities:

Directly reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with other members of the business leadership team
Taking responsibility for the management and implementation of budget planning
Setting and monitoring financial targets
Maintaining a cash focus on a daily basis
Liaising with central accounting teams
Understanding the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met commercially
Identifying opportunities for the update and development of systems and business methods
Continuously keeping informed of emerging trends and market conditions

Skills and experience required:

Extensive experience in a similar commercial management role within a creative business or agency
Excellent IT skills, with good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
Relevant financial qualification or part-qualification would be beneficial (for example CIMA, ACCA or AAT)
Approaches tasks with curiousity, always looking for opportunities to innovate and to improve
Appreciates the value and importance of working collaboratively with teams across the business
Able to adapt to a fast-moving business environment, with a positive approach to change
Excellent problem-solver
Demonstrates enthusiasm and tenacity
Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and when putting together written correspondence, reports and presentations
