What Are We Looking For?

Among our many roles on offer, our in-house design team is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our business in Bristol. You will take on a leading role in aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client Specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong focus on low-carbon solutions.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

* Produce design drawings and schematics for client projects

* Perform technical calculations for project delivery

* Carry out the planning and implementation of the project

* Provide outline and detailed engineering from inception to completion of schemes utilising design partners, in hour's resources and site service personnel.

* Liaise with clients, engineering staff or where necessary Design Manager to ensure designs are approved in accordance with the timescales stipulated within the contract/programme.

What Do You Need?

* Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

* Knowledge of British and European design standards

* Prior experience of working as an Electrical Engineer in either a design office or in a construction environment

* Well-versed in AutoCAD
