Health & Safety Manager

Location: Leamington Spa
Contract: Full Time, Onsite, Permanent

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking global engineering consultancy specializing in the development of sustainable electrified propulsion systems and related technologies. You'll work collaboratively with industry-leading automotive, commercial vehicle, aerospace, and defense OEMs, as well as Tier-1 suppliers and research bodies.

Role Overview:
The Health & Safety Manager will report to the Head of HR and oversee the design, development, and implementation of management systems across two key sites. This stand-alone role requires a hands-on approach, regularly engaging with teams to foster a positive health and safety culture. You will also manage a team of three Facilities personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with health, safety, and sustainability policies.
Design and implement internal policies and conduct audits, reporting findings to the Operations Board.
Investigate accidents or near misses and develop risk assessments.
Deliver training and Toolbox Talks on safety procedures.
Manage the facilities team and liaise with external consultants on sustainability initiatives.

What You'll Need:

NEBOSH qualification or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of HSE and sustainability legislation.
Experience with ISO 14001 & 9001 standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Relevant industry experience is desirable.
