Package Description: We are looking for a friendly, professional Maintenance Technician to join our busy team of maintenance staff at Stowe School. The role will be to assist the Head of Estates and the Building Management team with undertaking general building maintenance tasks in and around the school and any other properties that the school may have at their disposal, to ensure that upkeep and statutory compliance are maintained.
You will enjoy working in a busy and varied role, delivering a first class and responsive service to the school wherever possible. The role will include carpentry and general building works, as well as support to the General Foreman and Buildings Maintenance Supervision. You will be interacting with the wider school community so a good personal approach and proactive nature are important. You will have previous experience in the maintenance/estates industry or relevant trade skills.
Stowe School
Stowe School occupies Stowe House and approximately 200 acres of the Stowe estate and is located in Stowe’s world-famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres. Stowe School is an independent co-educational boarding School with approximately 900 pupils. There are around 500 full and part-time staff with 60 staff and their families living on site.
