We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Resident Liaison Officer to join our team for an important project working in council flats in Rushden. This is a short-term role with the opportunity to work until the end of February, helping to facilitate communication between residents and the project team during ongoing works.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main point of contact for residents in the council flats, addressing their queries, concerns, and providing support throughout the project.
Coordinate and communicate effectively between residents and contractors to ensure minimal disruption during the works.
Organise and attend resident meetings to provide updates on the progress of the project, including any potential disruptions or changes.
Ensure residents are kept informed of any works that may impact them, including access to their flats, noise levels, and work schedules.
Provide support and guidance to residents regarding any relocation, temporary accommodation, or access arrangements.
Ensure that all concerns and complaints are dealt with promptly and professionally.
Liaise with the project management team, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably within social housing or construction.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with residents in a professional and empathetic manner.
Knowledge of social housing policies and procedures is desirable.
Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
A proactive, problem-solving approach to any challenges that may arise.

Working Hours:
