Job Title: Full-Time PE Teacher

About the Role:

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Full-Time PE Teacher to support a Stroud based secondary school on an immediate basis within the Female PE department. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire and educate students in physical education, with the potential to continue until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective PE lessons across various year groups.
Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in line with the curriculum.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
Mark students' work and provide timely feedback.
Organise and participate in school sports fixtures and events.
Attend and support students during sports fixtures.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Support students' physical and personal development.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching Female PE at secondary level.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
