Financial Accountant

Duration:     Permanent

Location:     Birmingham

Salary:        £38,000-£40,000 per annum

Hours:        07:30-16:15 Mon-Thurs, 07:30-15:00 Fri (Full time on site)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support the finance team to ensure the close is performed, adhering to strict deadlines, with variance analysis to understand deviations from budget and forecast. Additionally, you will prepare overhead accruals and prepayments, analyse fixed assets and calculate depreciation charge, regular review of overhead spend analysis with stakeholders
• Carry out balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register 
• Carry out weekly cashflow forecasting
• Liaise with AP and AR teams assisting with any queries
• Monitor overdues and GRNI balances
• Ensure debit notes are appropriately processed and reconciled

Requirements:

• Part qualified accountant CIMA/ACCA
• High standard of Excel skills
