Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking for a meaningful role in education? Our client, a dynamic educational organisation based in Gillingham, is seeking a motivated Student Support Advisor to join their team. The role is a 3 month contract to cover maternity leave. The role is based in a large school trust that can offer lots of opportunities.
Responsibilities:

Be part of the Sixth Form Support team, providing pastoral support and guidance to students
Create a purposeful study environment, supervising and maintaining the student study area
Support students in developing effective study skills and independent research skills
Contribute to the promotion of enrichment and progression activities for Post 16 students
Monitor attendance, punctuality, and behaviour, ensuring compliance with school policies
Assist in the accurate maintenance of data and other administrative tasks related to the sixth formQualifications and Skills:

Experience working in a school environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
Flexible, caring, and positive attitude
