ACR Recruitment and Training LTD are seeking a skilled CNC Fanuc Operator/ Setter to join our team in operating computer numerical control (CNC) machinery to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating with Fanuc controls, tooling, Solid works, and fabricating, with strong mechanical knowledge, to join our client based in Coventry.
Key responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating CNC turning machines to produce parts using FANUC controls
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Conduct regular maintenance on machines
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
- Ability to work with various materials handling equipment
- Maintain a high standard, quality and safety in all work
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a CNC Turner Setter/ Operator
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Extensive experience with setting and operating CNC machines using FANUC controls
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in problem-solving and attention to detail
Requirements:
- MUST have experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator
- Proficiency in setting CNC machines with FANUC controls
- Overtime required each week
- Due to the job involving heavy lifting, the ideal candidate must be physically fit
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
