The role - Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCO)

Providing support to teachers and students helping them reach their full potential for SEND teaching and learning
Working with children with a wide range of needs and abilities
Providing support to staff, creating or sourcing resources
Meeting with outside agencies
Making referrals and completing/reviewing EHCP paperwork
Work closely with SLT and other agencies to develop the provision to SEND in the school
