About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our team in Cheshunt starting September 2024. This full-time position is a replacement role due to a staff member's retirement. The successful candidate will benefit from a supportive environment with admin assistance provided. The recruitment process includes a face-to-face interview and potentially a trial day, with early applications encouraged. The role involves teaching a diverse class of young learners and fostering a culture of respect and inclusion. We look forward to welcoming a passionate educator to our school community.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required for this Key Stage 1 Teacher role.
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience in a primary school setting, with a strong background in KS1.
• Experience teaching core subjects such as English and Mathematics at Key Stage 1.
• Demonstrated ability to support and manage a diverse classroom, including students with SEN.
• Strong professional references that highlight your teaching capabilities and classroom management skills.
• Excellent social and emotional skills to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Key Stage 1 subjects, including English and Mathematics, tailored to meet the needs of all students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents to support their development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting respect, collaboration, and effective learning.
• Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and support for students with additional needs.
