Full job description:

We are looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager to join our team in Fulham (SW6)

Your role:

* Assisting the Nursery Manager in overseeing the monitoring, assessment, and development of the nursery setting

* Promoting a safe, caring, stimulating environment

* Supporting and promoting equality and diversity throughout all areas of practice

* Promoting and ensuring the provision of outstanding childcare

* Assisting with training and appraising of staff

* Supporting the overall day to day running of the nursery in conjunction under the guidance of the Nursery Manager.

* Supporting staff development and practice to ensure continual quality development of the setting.

* Supporting continued growth and opportunity of the nursery by developing robust and effective parent partnership programmes.

* Ensuring all staff are committed to ensuring the very best outcomes for children.

* Acting as designated key person for an allocated number of children.

* Ensure you observe, plan and assess children's learning and development within the EYFS framework.

* Developing positive partnership with parents.

* Leading, developing and managing your room staff to ensure the best outcomes for children.

* Working as part of a wider management structure within the Nursery.

* Supporting team development.

You will need:

* Minimum level 3 Early Years qualification

* Experience of working within a Senior/Deputy Manager role

* Experience of managing a team, as well as working in a team setting

* Up to date knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations

* Ability to identify priorities and meet outcomes

* Friendly, reliable and flexible approach
