Job Description
We are looking for a patient and dedicated 1:1 teaching assistant to support a child with additional needs in a primary school in the Rugby area. This role is ideal for someone with experience in SEND support who is passionate about helping children engage with learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential in a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide individual support to a child with additional needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum

* Assist with classroom activities, social interaction, and emotional regulation

* Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to implement tailored learning strategies

* Create a positive, structured learning environment that supports both academic and personal development

* Encourage independence and confidence through structured interventions and emotional support

Required Experience

* Previous classroom experience in a primary school setting

* Experience working with children with SEND

* A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting individual learning needs
