Nursery Room Leader - Baby Room

Salary: £29,000-£32,000

40 hours per week, across 5 or 4.5 days

We are currently looking for a nurturing and experienced Baby Room Leader to join our client's diverse and inclusive nursery team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for providing a safe and stimulating environment for babies to thrive.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Nursery Room Leader or similar childcare leadership role.
• Level 3 in Early Years or above
• Strong understanding of child development and early years education, with a focus on inclusive and diverse practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and staff members.
• Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and policies related to childcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the baby room, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, growth, and development.

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and caregivers, ensuring open communication and partnership in the child's development.
