This role is ideal for a results-oriented leader with a passion for business development and customer relationships.

Position Overview:
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies within your designated region, manage key customer relationships, and drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in your assigned territory.

* Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

* Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and opportunities for growth. Provide insights to senior management for strategic planning.

* New Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the region, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing customers.

* Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales performance metrics, ensuring accountability across the team and providing regular feedback to improve performance.

* Budget Management: Manage the sales budget for the region, ensuring cost-effective sales practices.

* Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment of sales initiatives with company goals.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as an Business Development Manager or similar role in related industry.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing sales team.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

* Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.

* Strong knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.

* Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
