We are seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee and manage our logistics operations, ensuring efficient and compliant import/export activities. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of customs processes and trade regulations across various transport modalities.
Day-to-day of the role: - Oversee the planning and execution of international and domestic shipping operations, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth and cost-effective logistics operations.
- Develop and implement strategies for minimizing the cost of transport and customs duties.
- Stay updated with changes in trade and EU regulations and ensure all logistics activities comply with these changes.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Analyse logistical problems and produce new solutions aimed at improving efficiency and reducing costs.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Extensive knowledge of customs processes and a firm grasp of import/export regulations.
- Proven expertise in shipping and freight operations across all modalities of transport.
- Strong understanding of current trade and EU regulations.
