Advantech Gaming Solutions is a highly successful division of the $2bn+ turnover IPC manufacturer Advantech Corporation. Specialising in custom industrial computer hardware and software products tailored for the casino/gaming/lottery industry, we are currently looking to expand our UK design team with the appointment of a Technical Administrator with experience of managing engineering administrative systems and producing technical documents.

Job Functions:
Departmental Technical Administration :
- Producing user manuals, product data sheets and technical drawings from detailed engineering design documents (hardware, firmware, software, mechanical)
- General product support documents (sharing CAD drawings, graphic illustrations, generating PDF documents for release)
- Internal and external product control systems management and documentation (PCN’s)
- Internal works order processing
- Maintaining the engineering parts system
- Maintain the online customer accessible knowledge base media content
- Product control administration
- Generating, issuing and managing customer equipment loan agreements
General Support Functions :
- Supporting the in-house design teams by taking ownership of the supporting technical admistrative functions
- Working interdepartmentally to achieve targets for product/project deliverables
- Co-ordinate engineering materials for off site events (e.g. Trade shows)
- Marketing support

Qualifications & Key Skills:
Essential :
- MS Office competent particularly in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Demonstrable industry experience in a technical product administration role and/or relevant qualifications or experience
Desirable :
- Demonstrable interest or experience in microelectronics design and architectures related to computer hardware technology
- A practical understanding of PC technology architecture and operating systems
Terms Conditions & Benefits:
The role is office based, Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs per week with flexi-time options.
Holiday 28 days initially, rising one day per year up to 30 days, plus bank holidays.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
The position is permanent on successful completion of a six month probationary period.
