We have various exciting opportunities to join the Jacobs EC&I Team in Glasgow / Westlakes to make a difference in the industry.
The tasks and projects open are at various stages of the project lifecycle including scoping and planning, detailed design and execution support. All work is delivered as part of a multidisciplinary team.
For either of these locations we require an experienced EC&I Engineer who can deliver designs in accordance with the project requirements for numerous projects and various clients. The tasks and projects cover a large area of site and the nature of the work is varied.
Key responsibilities:
* Production of technical and design deliverables, such as specifications and method statements
* Production and update of EC&I Drawings, such as BCDs, SLDs, wiring diagrams and hook ups.
* Working with a small integrated design team in the delivery of design packages against milestones
* Perform all assigned work to agreed Safety, Health & Environmental standards and demonstrate a commitment to attaining high levels of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) performance
Requirements:
* Relevant degree
* Sound knowledge of Electrical, Control & Instrumentation basics and fundamentals
* Conversant with existing CAE tools (e.g. Auto CAD, CAESAR, PDMS)
