High End Residential Refurb Contractor

CSC are working with a specialist main contractor within the high-end residential refurbishment and fit out sector with a turnover of c£15m per annum. Based in West London they procure projects from £500k - £15m, their sweet spot is £3-£5m.
Founded over 30 years ago they have an excellent reputation within the HQR sector and mainly focus on refurbishment projects, with some structural and basement digs.
They have the best processes and procedures from the tier one contractor background, adding in flexibility, understanding of family life and the want to deliver extra special projects for their clients.
They are currently looking for a Contracts Manager who is able to manage up to 3 projects at any one time at various stages of the construction process. Experience of pre-construction and tendering is essential.
Duties will include;
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Manage and resolve disputes, claims and any contractual issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Oversee the preparation of change orders, extensions of time, and other contract-related documentation.
Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks related to contract terms and project execution.
Ensure that risks are communicated and managed effectively with all stakeholders.
Develop strategies to address any emerging risks and reduce the impact on project timelines and budgets.
Coordination & Communication:
Act as the main point of contact for all contract-related matters for multiple ongoing projects.
Collaborate with Project Managers, legal teams, procurement, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate contract execution.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding contract status, risks, and performance.
Financial Oversight:
Monitor and track project budgets, ensuring that contracts adhere to cost controls.
Review and approve invoices, payment applications, and claims submitted by sub-contractors and suppliers.
Support financial forecasting and budgeting by identifying potential cost overruns or savings in contracts.
Subcontractor & Supplier Management:
Oversee sub-contractor and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and performance standards.
Facilitate the procurement process and ensure contracts are in place for all necessary services and materials.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Contracts Management, preferably with experience of overseeing HQR projects.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
