Our client, a leading organisation in Welwyn Garden City, is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join their team and manage their Perms desk. In this role, you will focus on the commercial and industrial sectors, building and expanding relationships with clients and candidates.

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will have the opportunity to excel in face-to-face client meetings, ensuring a tailored and personalised experience for each client. Your ability to foster long-term professional relationships will be key, as you work with lapsed, existing, and potential clients to understand their needs and provide top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing long-term business relationships with clients and candidates
Growing the client base by supplying permanent staff to local businesses
Providing specialist consultative service by understanding the local market
Sourcing and placing candidates into permanent roles
Delivering exceptional customer service to all stakeholders
Utilising sales and networking techniques to attract business
Visiting companies to build and develop working relationships
Advertising vacancies through various media channels
Headhunting suitable candidates
Managing the recruitment process, including interviews and shortlisting
Guiding and advising on pay rates, training, and career progression

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be positive, motivated, and possess exceptional communication skills. Your enthusiasm for relationship-building and your ability to thrive in a competitive environment will set you apart. A valid driving licence and a car are required, as you will need to meet clients and prospective clients across the city.
