Nursery Room Leader – Level 3 Qualified
Salary: Up to £27,400
Hours: 40 hours per week
Our client, a warm and welcoming nursery set in a beautifully renovated Victorian building, is looking for a passionate Nursery Room Leader to join their dedicated team.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of caregivers in providing high-quality early years education to children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is committed to offering a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive, learn, and explore.
What We’re Looking For
- Childcare Qualification: Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent (essential).
- Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Knowledge of EYFS: Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and how to implement it effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Proactive Approach: A proactive and enthusiastic approach to providing high-quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities
- Room Leadership: Lead a room within the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained.
- Team Support: Support and guide a team of early years practitioners, encouraging professional development and teamwork.
- Activity Planning: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that enhance children’s learning and development.
- Creating a Safe Environment: Provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that promotes children’s emotional and social growth.
- Building Relationships: Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
- Progress Tracking: Keep accurate records of children’s progress, ensuring regular updates are communicated with parents
