Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Ashford

Location: Ashford

Daily Rate: £110 - £120 per day

Start Date: ASAP ongoing - full time

Tradewind Recruitment are actively recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time role at a large secondary school in Ashford. The role is to start ASAP on a full time long term basis with the option of going on a permanent contract with the school for the right candidate.

The Role

Provide targeted support to individual students, small groups and whole class depending on the needs of the day
Covering classes in the absence of the class teacher when required
Plan, prepare and deliver group work or Team Teaching with the main class teacher
Support students during classes to enable them to access the curriculumRequirements

Hold HLTA qualification or have HLTA experience
Experience planning and delivering specialist PPA lessons across the secondary curriculum.
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
