About the Company: Our client is a reputable and well-established main contracting construction company with over 15 years of experience delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial developments. Their commitment to excellence, sustainability, and innovative construction practices has earned them a strong industry reputation. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking experienced Senior and Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to join their team and play a key role in delivering social housing refurbishment contracts.

About the Role: Our client is seeking to recruit both a Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) and an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join their team for upcoming social housing refurbishment projects. In these roles, you will:

Cost Control & Financial Management:

* Oversee and manage the cost control process for social housing refurbishment contracts, ensuring that financial outcomes are maximized.

* Develop and implement strategies to optimize project profitability, including preparing and managing budgets and financial forecasts.

* Work closely with the accounts department to ensure proper integration of accounting systems and financial reporting processes.

Procurement Management:

* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure procurement strategies align with the project's objectives.

* Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate competitive prices and secure contracts.

Contract Administration:

* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including JCT contracts, and administer sub-contract agreements.

* Review and manage contract terms, ensuring they meet project requirements and regulatory standards.

* Maintain detailed records of contracts, warranties, and associated documents.

Design & Project Coordination:

* Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure that the projects meet design specifications and are delivered on time and within budget.

* Manage the coordination of design services and construction processes to ensure a smooth transition between project phases.

Compliance & Risk Management:

* Monitor and ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory standards, and health and safety requirements.

* Identify and manage potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies and providing advice on dispute resolution.

Client & Stakeholder Communication:

* Serve as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders, ensuring strong communication and relationship management.

* Collaborate with internal operations teams to align project performance with client expectations and company objectives.

About the Requirements:

* A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

* For the Senior QS role, at least 5-10 years of proven experience in Quantity Surveying or a similar commercial role within the construction industry, with a strong background in social housing projects.

* For the Intermediate QS role, 2-5 years of relevant experience.

* Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
