We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our client, a renowned Catholic secondary school, on a maternity cover basis for a full academic year. This position is set to begin in September 2024.
Job Role Requirements:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with curriculum guidelines
- Support students in developing their literacy skills and love for literature
- Contribute to the school's extracurricular programs and initiatives
Qualifications and Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in English or a related field
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to the ethos and values of a Catholic education
