Job Description: Occupational Health Technician

Location: Samlesbury and Warton
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM | Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Salary: £24,570 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a confident and self-motivated Occupational Health Technician to join a multidisciplinary occupational health team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting employee health and wellbeing within a dynamic and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct health screening procedures, including baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis.

*

Perform audiometry and lung function testing.

*

Deliver health promotion activities to support employee wellbeing.

*

Accurately record medical information and ensure all equipment is serviceable, clean, and fit for purpose.

*

Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to health and safety protocols.

Skills and Experience:

*

Knowledge or experience in occupational health or a related field (e.g., healthcare, fitness, or emergency medical services).

*

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

*

IT literacy and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

*

A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.

*

A sound educational background, including a good standard of numeracy and written English.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Sports Sciences or a related field is desirable but not essential.
