About the Role:

Reed is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a school based in Aberdare, catering for children with additional learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our students and contribute to their educational journey.

Responsibilities:

• Classroom Support: Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Student Assistance: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
• Resource Preparation: Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
• Behavior Management: Support the teacher in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as record-keeping and organizing student work.
• Extracurricular Activities: Participate in and support school events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• A passion for education and working with children.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
