We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our client in the Leeds area. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchase ledger invoice processing, processing expenses and query handling.

Description
- Purchase ledger invoice processing to the correct nominal and cost centre
- Managing pre-paid invoices
- Processing expenses including fuel cards
- Supporting the finance department in daily tasks
- Keeping financial records updated for audit purposes
- Processing transactions and updating ledgers
- Ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
