Job Description - Assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of food preparation, production, and service.
- Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes meet the company's standards and client expectations.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, kitchen assistants, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in menu planning and development, taking into consideration dietary restrictions, nutritional guidelines, and seasonal ingredients.
- Oversee stock control and ordering to maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the catering team to execute special events, themed dinners, and other culinary initiatives.

We need an exceptional individual to join our team of professional chefs in this busy school.
You will work for Holroyd Howe at Ashville College, Harrogate. We serve around 900 fresh, made-from- scratch lunches to pupils, teachers and staff from Monday-Friday, hospitality and a breakfast, supper & Saturday service for 30 boarders.
40 hours per week. Monday-Saturday early shifts, 5/6 days with a 1 in 4 week supper rotation that finishes by 6.30pm. £28,000 per annum.

Qualifications Must be residing in the UK and have the proven right to work in the UK. Must have the ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
- 3-4 years successful progression in a professional kitchen.
- Team leadership in a high volume, fresh food cookery environment.
- Contract catering experience, especially in education is desirable.
