At Leader Education, we are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children within a mainstream school who cater for secondary students, this school is based in Newcastle. The ideal TA will have had previous experience working with young people as well as a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential.

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30 until 15:30.

The successful Candidate will:

• Candidates will need an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one

• Support the development of social and emotional skills

• Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative working
• Monitor and manage students' wellbeing and behaviour
