Court of Protection Caseworker

Location: Walsall

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 p/a

The people-focused firm are hiring for a Court of Protection Caseworker to successfully manage and support their clients.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Client management-building relationships with clients and managing their household and personal budgets
Financial tasks such as paying bills and balancing accounts
Liaising with third party contractors to provide support for clients
Reacting and effectively handling emergency situations for clients
Documenting reports
Updating the appointed duty on clients financial statuses, requests and changes in circumstances
Communicating effectively and working closely with clients as needed The ideal candidate:

Must be panel accredited with a background in CoP work
Experience in managing household budgets, property sales and purchases
Knowledge and experience in overseeing investments
Empathetic and interpersonal skills to support clients
Driving licence due to nature of the job
