JOB – Control Systems Engineer  LOCATION – Derbyshire TERM – Permanent SALARY – £60,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience A Derbyshire based manufacturing company are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The Control Systems Engineerwill ideally have the following attributes:

• HNC or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience designing & developing software for PLC & HMI.
• Good PLC & HMI knowledge & experience – ideally Siemens.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment – full life cycle development.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.

The duties & responsibilities will include:

• Design & development of PLC & HMI softwares & systems.
• Full life cycle development of control systems from design through to commissioning.
• Providing support to junior engineers when required.
• Liaising with customers & other departments to ensure requirements are being met at all times.
• Ensuring health & safety regulations are being met at all times.
• Attending site visits when required.
