About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our dynamic team starting in September 2024. This full-time, long-term role has become available due to the expansion of our SEN support team, reflecting our ongoing commitment to inclusive education.

The successful candidate will work closely with students, providing essential support to those with diverse SEN needs. The TA must be committed to assisting with personal care duties, including the changing of nappies.

Application Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role within a primary school setting, particularly with SEN students.

• Willingness to engage in personal care tasks, including nappy changing when required.

• A genuine passion for working with children and making a difference in their educational journey.

• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing one-on-one or small group support to SEN students.

• Supporting the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.

• Engaging in personal care tasks as needed.

• Monitoring and recording student progress.
