1:1 Teaching Assistant - Primary School in Stockport

Are you a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role? We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 3 with complex SEND requirements at a welcoming Primary School in Stockport.

The Role:

Providing tailored 1:1 support to a child in Year 3 with complex SEND needs
Assisting with both academic and social development
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

Resilient, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about supporting children with SEND
Has previous child-based experience in an educational or care setting
Patient, understanding, and able to build strong relationships
A team player with excellent communication skills

Requirements:

Must have relevant experience working with children, particularly in a SEND capacity
Willingness to undergo DBS checks and provide necessary documentation
