A well established Swiss private bank is looking to hire a software engineer specialising in risk analytics for its Basel office in Switzerland. 

The successful candidate will be methodical and solution-oriented. You will work closely with Business Intelligence Engineers and Data Scientists, being responsible for the Risk Analytics Architecture and providing permanent service to the Risk Analytics team. Be part of a team of highly talented individuals to conduct business analysis in collaboration with various stakeholders. Develop the risk analytics data architecture (SQL Server, .NET). Develop ETL processes and related workflows, monitoring and error handling (SSIS, Python). Develop analytics visualisations (SSRS and PowerBI). Recommend enhancements and modifications to optimise current processes. Maintain documentation.

To be suitable for this role, you will have a university degree (university/FH) in IT Engineering or Computer Sciences. Three years of practical experience in the field. Knowledge in SQL Server (T-SQL), SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI, .Net (C#) and Python is required. Industry-specific knowledge is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as able to weigh problems and set priorities. Able to work with various stakeholders as well as have the capability to work independently. Be fluent in English, German would also be an asset but is not essential.
