Our international client located in Wimbledon is excited to expand its well-established and vibrant Fine Art Shipping team.

This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about Fine Art and eager to progress with a career in Logistics.

While candidates with experience in Airfreight, Shipping, Logistics, or import and export are preferred, our client is also receptive to diverse backgrounds, including Registrars, Gallery Coordinators, or similar Fine Art professionals keen to demonstrate their capabilities with Logistics.

Job Title: Shipping Coordinator

Role Type: Permanent

Salary: 30k to 35k

Location: Wimbledon

Hours: Monday - Friday (Office Based)

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and arranging all aspects of fine art shipping for high end interior design projects - imports and exports.
• Liaising with clients to provide estimates for all modes of transport including courier, road, airfreight, and sea freight.
• Opening jobs on inhouse software and generating all shipping documents.
• Arranging collections, packing, and applying for export licences & Cites Permits.
• Arranging import & export Customs clearances.
• Arranging condition reports, taking photographs, and updating the condition of items on the database for insurance purposes.
• Liaise with overseas agents and transport companies.
• Invoicing and billing.
• Dealing with all client queries.

Desirable

• Previous experience within Airfreight, Import/Export, Shipping.
• Exceptional problem solving and customer skills.
• Previous understanding of support Art Fairs.
• Understanding of the Logistics, Fine Art, Customs or Transport sectors.
• Experience in coordinating luxury goods or services.
• Proactive and solution driven nature.
