Business Development Executive (9-Month Fixed Term Contract)

  • 9:30am - 17:30pm 

Join a dynamic legal firm located in the vibrant London Bridge area as a Business Development Executive. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and executing business development strategies that align with the firms ambitious five-year plan.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Event Management: Organise business development events and manage participation of fee earners in conferences and seminars.
  • Award Submissions: Produce high-quality submissions for awards and directories as required.
  • Pitch Support: Assist with and lead pitches when necessary, creating tailored marketing and pitch materials.
  • Material Development: Ensure timely delivery of business development tactics and materials, keeping all collateral and credentials up to date.
  • Campaign Support: Aid fee earners with campaigns on relevant topics, including managing digital content, social media posts, and internal communications.
  • CRM Engagement: Utilize the CRM system to enhance client intelligence and support effective relationship management.
  • Sector Project Leadership: Take charge of sector-specific projects, including scheduling calls, setting agendas, and ensuring follow-up on actions.
  • General BD Support: Manage central business development projects and responsibilities as they arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a business development role within a professional services environment, law firm experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in delivering effective business development support.
  • Excellent written, creative, and organisational skills; high IT proficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledgeable in Private Wealth & Property sectors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge of InDesign, WordPress, Vuture, or similar email marketing systems desirable.
  • Educated to degree level; a postgraduate marketing qualification is advantageous.
