We are currently working with a local NHS Trust who are seeking a Band 4 Specialist Family Worker to support in delivering high quality brief interventions to Service Users within the criminal justice system, based across Staffordshire.

Location: Across Staffordshire

Rate of pay: £14.80 p/h Umbrella

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Contract: 3 month initial contract with the view of extension

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate harm reduction interventions including the delivery of Naloxone training to clients, families and partnerships.
Supporting service users who are released from custody and HMPs as well as supporting service users digitally who are released from other prisons.
Contributing to service users working collaboratively to build their recovery capital and ensuring positive recovery outcomes.
Ensuring service users have scheduled appointments and remove barriers to attendance.
Promoting visible recovery to clients within the criminal justice system.Requirements:

Understanding and awareness of the effects of substance misuse on an individual and the community.
